Oak Hill Subdivision

92nd St & Good Hope Rd - Milwaukee, WI 53224

An Urban Subdivision in the City of Milwaukee

General Capital purchased approximately 15.8 acres on Milwaukee’s North West Side to develop a unique urban subdivision that preserves the site’s natural features and topography. At the heart of the community is Bishop Circle, a landscaped island with mature oak trees that were carefully preserved during the construction process. Oak Hill contains 34 lots, many featuring lower level exposures, preserved woodlands or other amenities.

General Capital worked with neighbors, community leaders and local officials to ensure compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood. The project was developed under a City of Milwaukee Out-of-Program Agreement, allowing General Capital to design, engineer and build the subdivision’s infrastructure. This process required critical coordination with City engineers, DPW and numerous City and County agencies. The project’s infrastructure was dedicated in 2008. The community is well received in the marketplace and when built out, will add over $9 million to the City’s tax base. Several lots are still available.
