Located in the historic Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee, this former post office / industrial space was completely renovated in 2008. The building is now home to Milwaukee’s renowned Trinity Irish Dance Company, Snap Fitness and the Gustave A. Larson Company. General Capital (with partner Scott Sampson) made a concerted effort to preserve the building, working closely with the 3rd Ward Architectural Review Board to maintain the area’s historic / aesthetic objectives. This site was chosen in 2008 for MIAD’s new dormitory (a 6-story ultra-modern structure to sit above/preserve the historic building). Due to fundraising challenges, the school elected to postpone the project indefinitely.
