General Capital applied for and received an allocation of affordable housing tax credits from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA). The property is fully occupied with a six to twelve month waiting list.
The renovation of this 86 unit development will bring new life to the property and help preserve an important affordable housing resource in Columbia County. A full 85% of Rosewood residents have incomes below 40% of the adjusted median income of Columbia County. The rehabilitation includes PHFA’s Green Building Criteria, intended to enhance sustainability measures to improve the lives of residents and the surrounding community.
