Fox Valley Technical College, the largest technical college in Wisconsin, had been planning to add a housing component for ten years. General Capital first met with the College in the fall of 2014 to learn about its requirements. Our firm developed a collaborative relationship with the school, which led to an affiliation agreement that serves as a blueprint for marketing, leasing, and operations. General Capital secured a site a block away, designed a 275 bed project, and began construction in September 2015. Tech Village, scheduled to be completed before classes begin for the fall 2016 semester, is viewed as a key recruitment and retention tool for the College.
