Fire Station Flats is a mixed-use redevelopment planned for 420 S. Broadway in Green Bay's Shipyard District. Developed through a public-private partnership between General Capital and the City of Green Bay, the project will transform a former industrial site into a community combining 85 affordable apartments, a new Green Bay Metro Fire Station #1, administrative offices, and community-serving spaces. The four-story residential building will feature 61 one-bedroom and 24 two-bedroom apartments serving households across a range of income levels.

The redevelopment will also include a Community Education Center offering public safety training, educational programming, and neighborhood events, along with commercial space and pedestrian improvements. Designed with sustainability in mind, the project incorporates brownfield remediation, energy-efficient construction, and green infrastructure. Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2026, with completion and initial residential occupancy anticipated in December 2027.
