A “Triple Play” on Bluemound Road
The predecessor of General Capital (Midland Development) developed this multi-tenant shopping center for a private family who had owned the parcel for many years. Located on Bluemound Road across from the Brookfield Square Regional Mall, Sportmart Plaza is situated among the highest grossing commercial developments in Metro Milwaukee.
In addition to satisfying the community’s demanding design standards, the developer had to negotiate with neighboring retail centers to achieve the best traffic and circulation patterns for the project.
The result is an attractive, highly landscaped shopping center with a high degree of curb appeal. Original tenants were Sportmart, Linens N Things and Barnes & Noble. Current tenants are Floor and Décor and Penny Mustard.
