Restored Creek Provides Natural Backdrop for Mixed Use Community

Located on the recently naturalized Beaver Creek, the site is central to the ongoing commercial revitalization of Brown Deer Rd near 60th Street. The Village generously participated via TIF funding for project infrastructure.

The hard corner is home to a new Walgreens, while the residential component serves as an oasis in the middle of the high traffic Brown Deer Rd corridor. A series of townhomes frames a Village Green, each unit including a ground floor master bedroom and attached 2-car garage. The site is approved for 51 units, 10 of which have been built. The project is very energy efficient, and certified under the Wisconsin Environmental Initiative’s Green Built Home program.
