Michael Weiss, thru the predecessor of General Capital (Midland Development) developed this state-of-the-art distribution facility for the San Francisco Music Box Company, a subsidiary of retail giant Woolworth (now Footlocker). The client required a quick opening for this new Midwest distribution location. Together with our partners, Duke Realty (now Duke Realty, NYSE) and the Bergman family, we quickly worked through the client’s detailed requirements and produced this 153,600 square foot facility in a compressed construction schedule. Together with advisor and broker Sam Dickman, we developed a convenient site utilizing land in the City of Milwaukee land bank.
